Jennifer Kelley, DVM, DAVDC
Board Certified Veterinary Dentist
Dr. Kelley grew up in Colorado and graduated from Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. She completed a one year mixed animal internship and returned to Colorado State University as the first dual track resident in small animal (non species specific) and equine dentistry and oral surgery at CSU. She completed her 4 year residency in July 2024 as a Board Certified Veterinary Dentist®. She joined the University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine as an assistant professor and section head of the Dentistry and Oral Surgery service in September 2024 and became a Board Certified Equine Dentist™ in August 2025. She moved to the Bay Area to join her partner and the Aggie Animal Dental Center in September 2026.
Dr. Kelley is passionate about providing excellence in patient care via in depth communication, diagnostic and surgical expertise, and collaboration with owners and referring veterinarians. She is committed to advancing the field with clinical research, and providing continuing education to veterinary students and veterinarians to improve the oral health of companion animals, zoo species and horses. Dr. Kelley is an author of multiple scientific articles and serves as an editor of Frontiers Veterinary Sciences. While she enjoys all areas of dentistry and oral surgery, she is particularly passionate about feline oral health, and oral surgery such as challenging extractions, maxillofacial trauma repair and oral oncologic surgeries.
Dr. Kelley looks forward to serving Northern California pet owners and veterinarians as an advocate and resource for animal oral health. Outside of work you can find Dr. Kelley exploring the beauty of the Bay Area’s natural wonders with her adventure cats, dog, horses, and partner, as well as diving into the Bay Area’s food scene. She is very excited to join and continue the culture of excellence at Aggie Animal Dental Center and be a part of this vibrant community.
