First Outpatient Neurology Network

The Specialty That Sees What Others Can't

Veterinary neurology sits at the intersection of diagnostic precision and surgical complexity. From seizure management and intervertebral disc disease to brain tumors and spinal cord injuries, neurologists handle the cases that require the deepest clinical reasoning and the most advanced imaging technology.

Yet most veterinary neurologists practice inside ER-attached multi-specialty hospitals where emergency caseloads compete for MRI time, neurosurgical suites are shared resources, and the unique rhythm of neurological care, methodical, imaging-intensive, often requiring extended follow-up, takes a back seat to high-volume throughput.

AOSN's Neurology Specialty Group is built differently. We're creating outpatient-focused environments purpose-built for the way neurologists actually work, with dedicated imaging access, neurosurgical capability, and the clinical autonomy to manage complex cases from diagnosis through long-term follow-up.

The Specialty That Sees What Others Can't

Why Neurologists Choose AOSN’s Neurology Specialty Group

Clinical Autonomy

You direct the diagnostic workup, the treatment plan, and the long-term management, without corporate protocols overriding your clinical judgment. Your patients, your decisions.

Dedicated Imaging Access

Neurology depends on imaging. AOSN invests in high-field MRI, CT, and advanced electrodiagnostic equipment so your cases aren't waiting behind emergency scans or fighting for time on shared machines.

Neurosurgical Capability

From hemilaminectomy and ventral slot procedures to craniotomy and spinal stabilization, AOSN facilities are equipped and staffed for the surgical side of neurology, keeping the full scope of your training in play.

Peer Collaboration

Neurology is one of the smallest veterinary specialties. AOSN connects you to a growing network of DACVIM (Neurology) colleagues across specialties and geographies, for case consultation, imaging review, and the kind of peer collaboration that's hard to find in isolated practice settings.

Competitive Compensation

Industry-leading base salary, production bonuses, comprehensive benefits, CE allowance, and full coverage of ACVIM dues, DEA registration, and state licensure fees.

Elevating the Standard of Neurological Care

Advanced Diagnostics

High-field MRI, CT imaging, cerebrospinal fluid analysis, electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies, and brainstem auditory evoked response (BAER) testing, all under one roof.

Medical Neurology

Comprehensive management of epilepsy, meningoencephalitis, neuromuscular disease, vestibular disorders, and degenerative neurological conditions with evidence-based protocols and long-term follow-up.

Neurosurgery

Hemilaminectomy, dorsal laminectomy, ventral slot surgery, craniotomy, spinal stabilization and distraction, and peripheral nerve surgery, performed by fellowship-trained specialists in purpose-built surgical suites.

Collaborative Case Management

Neurological cases frequently intersect with oncology, surgery, and internal medicine. AOSN's multi-specialty network means your patients have seamless access to the full clinical team, without leaving the network.
